We’re now less than a week from the long-awaited CodeArena Audit on the V2 Contract Suite. This seems like the perfect time for a little housekeeping in preparation for a busy couple of weeks at Spartan Protocol.

Official Social Media/Web Addresses

Token Upgrades and Contract Upgrades can be confusing, and while the community has worked hard to make it as simple as possible for the Shield Wall, we are always available via the official social media channels as listed below (and accessible via the official website).

A reminder — V2 is a Token Upgrade. There are no Airdrops, no 1:1 snapshots, and no wallets or contracts for users to interact with, other than the dApps stored on the Spartan Protocol website.

Don’t Trust, Verify. Ensure you are engaging the team and community via links located on the Spartan Protocol Website, or via official sites such as CoinGecko (https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/spartan-protocol-token) which also contain direct links to Social Media and contract addresses.

Token Contract Addresses

$SPARTA V1 — the original Contract Address (0xe4ae305ebe1abe663f261bc00534067c80ad677c)

$SPARTA V2 — the current, upgraded and ‘ReadyForV2' Contract Address (0x3910db0600ea925f63c36ddb1351ab6e2c6eb102)

Upgrading your tokens is simple — visit the Upgrade dApp, which is the only method available to migrate to V2 Tokens. Remember, V1 Tokens will not be able to interact with the V2 dApp.

V1 Wallets continue to upgrade, with 93% of the Supply now in V2 Format
Largest remaining V1 Wallet Holders — Time to Upgrade!

Removal of Liquidity from the Spartan Protocol V1 Pools

Spartans are reminded to remove their liquidity from the V1 Spartan Protocol Liquidity Pools. This can be done by accessing the Pools via the Official Website, or via the direct link below.

In the Pools where you have liquidity, click on ‘JOIN’ and then Redeem your LP Tokens.

Slide your Spartan Helm to the right and Redeem your Tokens.

If your LP Tokens were locked into the DAO, please ensure you unlock them before removing your liquidity — this can be confirmed based on whether your LP Tokens appear in the ‘Redeem’ section or the ‘Staked’ sections above.

SPARTA Emissions are disabled in the V1 Pools.

Please Exit, Upgrade your SPARTA to V2, and prepare for the grand re-opening!

CodeArena Audit Donations

Donations remain open for Spartans to contribute to the CodeArena Bounty Allocation. These can be deposited via the dApp at https://dapp.spartanprotocol.org/codearena, the current donation tally total is just under $70,000, a huge effort so far from the Shield Wall.

0x588f82a66eE31E59B88114836D11e3d00b3A7916 is the Community Wallet address, our preference is for Spartans to use the dApp directly for depositing BNB, USDT, or BUSD to be used towards the CodeArena bounty.

Only donate via this dApp. Be safe, Verify First.

Interested in putting on your white hat and earning a part of that bounty?

You have five days notice. The $80,000 USDC Spartan Protocol Hackathon commences 15-July and completes 21-July.

So, what are the plans for Spartan Protocol from 21 July onwards?

V2, V2 and V2. Did we mention V2?

The results will be reviewed and assessed, with the below actions taken:

  • Bugs or defects to be squashed and resolved
  • Proposed code improvements or suggestions to be assessed and resolved where applicable
  • Proposed GAS reduction code to be assessed and implemented where applicable

Community Contribution

Spartan Protocol is at its core, a community-driven and led project. In this vein, the more contributors the better. There is a great opportunity for community members to contribute by making LP reward analysis tools, etc.

Recently, community members have been graciously funnelling in to contribute to explainer articles, ideas and even $SPARTA donations to support the growth of the platform.

Engage with the community and contributors

Where to find out about all the latest updates or suggest improvements — get involved.

Community Bounty Wallet

Whilst there is no treasury nor contributor allocations, there was a public community bounty wallet set up a while ago to help handle donations from the community and other incentive programs (BNB from the Binance BUIDL program was sent here) which can be viewed here:
